This evening event set in a cinema begins with a buffet meal alongside a piece of audio art by Jon Aveyard. The piece uses recordings of the
preparation and eating of food. The chopping, slurping, sizzling, crunching and bubbling piece will be presented over speakers as ambient sounds in the space and over headphones for closer listening. Headphones can also be used to listen to a live durational performance by the artist.

Jon Aveyard is a composer and audio artist based in Preston, UK. His work often combines skills drawn from studio composition, interdisciplinary mprovisation and binaural recording.
